WE ARE HELPING HANDS
ASPROWORDA is an association for the promotion of women in research and development in Africa.
It consists of an international group of scholars interested in the role women play in Africa’s development by means of contribution to knowledge through research, scientific publications and other women-focused development initiatives. ASPROWORDA promotes, stimulates and disseminates high quality research in development, economic and management studies.
Its mission statement also extends to the implementation of development projects that have a clear goal of promoting women in economic development processes.
VISION
ASPROWORDA’s vision is a world in which women are given equal opportunities to realise the maximum of their potentials through innovative, pragmatic and sustainable policies.
MISSION
Women economic empowerment can serve as an influential driver for sustainable and inclusive development. Hence, ASPROWORDA aims at promoting women through research and development.
